Freya and the Owls (The Magic Cloak) is based on the story of the Norse Goddess Freya. A goddess of both Love and War, she possessed a magic cloak made from feathers which enabled her to turn into a bird. She wears the Necklace of Brising, fashioned by the Dwarves of Brising from silver and amber. It was the most beautiful piece of jewellery in the world and, of course, Freya wanted it. She asked the dwarves to name their price, but they refused to sell the necklace. So Freya offered to go to bed with them ... and that's how she got her necklace.
